In November 2016 Naylors completed the sale of an industrial property investment in Ashington to Arch, the Northumberland development company.
The sale was made possible thanks to the letting of the same property earlier in 2016.
The 8,000 sqft property at Wansbeck Business Park had been let by the Industrial Agency department at Naylors on behalf of a client for whom the space had become surplus to requirements.
Thanks to a successful letting to Thermacore Europe Limited, who had signed a 10 year lease, the property now represented an attractive investment proposition. As the client did not wish to continue holding the property, the Investment team at Naylors was appointed to begin marketing the property as an investment. With a guide price of £330,000 the investment offered an attractive yield of 8%.
After a comprehensive marketing campaign, several expressions of interest were received. Discussions with Arch were carried out via their agent Bradley Hall and terms were soon agreed between both parties.
