Martyn has over 35 years’ experience in the North East property market, starting his career with Newcastle based Storey Sons & Parker before moving to Chesterton as Director in charge of the Valuation and Landlord & Tenant service lines. In 2000, Martyn moved to Knight Frank before joining Gavin Black & Partners in July 2011, then merging with Naylors in 2019.
Martyn deals with all aspects of commercial property consultancy, however specialises in lease advisory and valuation. Martyn provides expert witness advice in mainly value related disputes.
Martyn is a Registered Valuer and has been a member of the RICS Dispute Resolution Service Panel of Arbitrators and Independent Experts since 2009.
Outside of work, Martyn is a trustee of TDR Training and a keen follower of sport.
