Acquiring a Newcastle base for a global software business

In May 2015 Logic Now, a global market leader in the delivery of cloud-based IT service management solutions, approached Naylors to assist them in the acquisition of a Newcastle office.

Within three months Logic Now needed to identify a suitable office, negotiate terms, go through the legal process, carry out their fir-out and move into the new premises.

Naylors’ Office Agency team initiated matters by undertaking a full market search for office premises which matched the client’s brief.

A report of the available options was prepared and reviewed in person. Naylors arranged a round of viewings which were carried out together with Logic Now.

We helped to expedite matters and within two weeks a suitable opportunity was identified. By appointing an agent to assist them Logic Now benefited from a very quick and smooth process which resulted in finding the perfect premises to suit their needs.

After identifying the property we prepared to negotiate rent and lease terms in line with Logic Now’s business plan for the next five years. An incentive period was agreed as well as landlord works to redecorate and re-carpet the office suite.

In August 2015, Logic Now took occupation of their suite at Generator Studios on Trafalgar Street in Newcastle city centre and have recruited a number of new staff as a result of opening the new office.
