Six-figure refurbishment project completes at Parkview Industrial Estate, Hartlepool

Naylors’ Building Consultancy team has completed a six-figure refurbishment project to upgrade external elements on a number of industrial units at Parkview Industrial Estate in Hartlepool.

The building works included upgrading the thermal insulation of the roof in line with current building regulations and over cladding to provide the property with a 25 year guarantee.

As part of the re-brand of the estate the elevations were given a new lease of life with a full re-decoration including cladding, windows and doors. Upgraded signage has also been installed.

The client added additional items during the works, however the project still came in on time and on budget.

Following the completion of the works the client has reported increased interest in the vacant space.

In this instance the units have been brought up to modern standards to appeal to prospective tenants, enhancing the value of the asset within the given budget. This is particularly important due to imminent changes to the law surround EPC ratings, and the fact buildings with F&G ratings will not be able to be let or sold.”
